The Nation's Biggest Jewish Singles Event + LAGuardians.com = An Uprecedented Event expected to be One of the Biggest Jewish Singles Parties in LA's history with 50% of the net proceeds to support the LA Jewish Home for the Aging!

  • TimeOut - New York

“The mother of all Jewish Singles parties and the largest Jewish Singles event in the nation.”
    — TimeOut New York

  • New York Magazine

“A high end event” “awash in cocktail dresses,” “attended by Cosmopolitan’s Bachelor of the Month” and “3,000 singles who mingled their way over three vast floors.”
    — New York Magazine

  • The Village Voice

“Matzo ball parties are Jewish camps all grown up… Letmypeoplego.com has been the grandest of all, 3,000 strong, including Jewish jet-setters from London, Toronto, and Sydney.“
    — Village Voice

  • New York Times

“With an estimated 3,000 guests and music calculated to permit conversation, both the dancing and the flirting were said to have been great.”
    — New York Times

  • The Washington Post

“More than 3,500 dressed-to-impress” attendees expected to “venue-hop in style” at “the country’s largest Jewish Singles event.“
    — The Washington Post

As seen in both The New York Times and The Washington Post, The Ball has been the Nation’s Biggest Jewish Singles Event 13 years in a row! More than 4,300 people attended last year in NYC alone (see videos). That’s more than attend any Matzo Ball party or JDate event in the country.  This year, The Ball will be held in 25 cities worldwide

For The Ball 2008 in LA, we are proud to be teaming up with The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home with half of the net proceeds going to support The LA Jewish Home. The Young Divisions of The Guardians sponsor upscale fundraising events for young Jewish professional at locations like Harry Houdini's Estate and The Playboy Mansion.

Come out and have some fun and help us raise some money for the LA Jewish Home! Over 600,000 Jews live in Los Angeles. But there is only one Home that offers kosher food, a warm Jewish environment and Jewish holiday celebrations for our elderly, no matter what their financial situation. Each year, nearly 1,000 frail seniors are fortunate enough to have a wonderful place to call "Home".

We will taking over the entire Highlands Nightclub complex - “one of the biggest and most ornate nightlife spectacles ever seen” (AOL CityGuide) and "mixing hedonistic Babylon and modern Hollywood." (LA.com).

The Ball 2008 at The Highlands will encompass:

  • 2 Floors, 8 bars and 7 unique enviroments
  • 1500 Jewish Singles expected!
  • 3 DJs spinning different types of music in different rooms (hip-hop, dance, 80s and classics, house, rock and r&b) so whatever your flavor, we’ll have you covered.
  • Music never so so loud that you can’t talk and many lounge environments perfect for intimate conversation, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones.
  • 4 magnificent (and heated!) terraces offering killer views of downtown LA (LA.com)

Parking: Parking is plentiful at the parking garage within the Hollywood and Highland complex. Park for $2 for 4 hours or $10 for the night.

We look forward to seeing you at The Ball 2008 on Christmas Eve!
