The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging

As seen in both The New York Times and The Washington PostThe Ball in NYC has been the Nation’s Biggest Jewish Singles Event 16 years in a row!

More than 4,000 people now attend in NYC annually (see videos of The Ball - our 2010 video will be released shortly!). That’s more than attend any Matzo Ball party or JDate event or "Schmooz-a-palooza" in the country.

For the fourth year in a row, we're partnering with The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging to produce The Ball  2011 in LA.   Our previous parties were covered by, among others, The Huffington PostLA WeeklyNBC Los Angeles944 Magazine.  Both The Ball 2009 at Opera and Crimson and The Ball 2010 at Colony were completely sold out!

This Christmas Eve we're holding a "House Party" at Hollywood's coolest pad, MyHouseMake yourself at home, meet some new friends, and help raise some money for The Guardians and the Los Angeles elderly community - 60% of the net proceeds from the event support the The Guardians of the LA Jewish Home of the Aging!

  • About MyHouse:   "Aesthetically breathtaking" (944 Magazine), MyHouse is a 10,000 foot "decked-out, super-sized modern home" (WhereLA.com) "pimped out with a contemporary kitchen that serves as the club’s main bar" (UrbanDaddy). "Yes, that's a stainless steel refrigerator the bartender's pulling from." (Citysearch)
  • "Walking into MyHouse is akin to leafing through the pages of Dwell magazine, with slick nickel-scaled ceilings, a dramatic glass-lined staircase," "a living room with plush $8,000 Mogul couches" (LA Times), "a second floor bedroom as the unofficial VIP area ... even an outdoor patio with fireplaces, cabana-like booths and a Jacuzzi" (Citysearch).
  • About The Guardians:  The Young Divisions of The Guardians sponsors upscale fundraising events for young Jewish professional at locations like the Playboy Mansion, Houdini Mansion, and some of the hottest nightclubs and restaurant throughout Los Angeles in support of The Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging.
  • Over 600,000 Jews live in Los Angeles.  But The Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging offers kosher food, a warm Jewish environment and Jewish holiday celebrations for our elderly, no matter what their financial situation.  Each year, nearly 1,000 frail seniors are fortunate enough to have a wonderful place to call "Home".
  • About LetMyPeopleGo.com:  We've sponsored the country's biggest Jewish Singles Events since 1995!

We look forward to seeing you at The Ball 2011 on Saturday, December 24.
